Cephalogenetics

Is a private company involved in genetic diagnostics and applied clinical research. It is consisted by the Cephalogenetics Clinic and the Laboratory of Molecular Genetics. At the Cephalogenetics Clinic cases of craniofacial syndromes as well as orofacial and neurogenetic disorders are studied through clinical genetics, orofacial examination, pedigree analysis, genetic counseling. At the Laboratory of Molecular Genetics DNA samples isolated from blood, saliva and tissue are studied with molecular biology techniques such as PCR, RFLP analysis, gene sequencing and mutation identification.
